Suryapet, Feb.27 (PMI): Minister for Energy Jagadish Reddy condemned the arrest of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the excise policy scam and alleged that the investigation agencies like CBI, Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax have lost credibility under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, Minister Jagadish Reddy said the investigation agencies were purely working as per the allegations of BJP leaders and they had lost an independent stature of investigating cases.
The regime of the Modi government appears to be worsted than the dark days of Emergency period. The day is not far that people will raise a banner of revolt against the BJP government at the Centre and will teach a fitting lesson to it, Jagadish Reddy said.
Terming the arrest of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia as undemocratic, the Minister said that Sisodia’s arrest was BJP’s policy of targeting the opposition leaders using the probe agencies. (PMI)
