Hyderabad; 22 Oct 2023 ( PMI ): Telangana Finance Minister Harish Rao has said that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s name should be changed to Wrong Gandhi for spreading lies about the State.
Speaking at the Telangana Bhavan after welcoming former Congress leader Cheruku Sudhakar and other leaders from Nalgonda into the BRS on Saturday, Harish said, “Rahul Gandhi is spreading lies about the purchase of rice by the Chhattisgarh Government. While Telangana purchased the entire crop grown by its farmers, the Chhattisgarh Government only purchased 13 quintals per acre.”
Harish Rao also took exception to Rahul Gandhi’s comments that it was in his DNA to fight the BJP and asked him to figure out the DNA of his party’s Telangana president Revanth Reddy. “Find out what is Revanth Reddy’s DNA. Is it the ABVP’s, the BJP’s, or the TDP’s? He changed so many parties. Your DNA will not match his DNA. Fix it. It is ridiculous that Rahul is talking about corruption by keeping the thief caught in a vote-for-note case. “If Congress wins, there will be nothing but drought and curfews. The Congress, which sold tickets for crores, will sink the State. It has copied the schemes of Telangana and failed to fulfill the promises it made in Karnataka. The State will develop further only if KCR wins again,” Harish concluded. ( PMI )
