Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner Dr B. Janardhan Reddy today directed his officials to take up road repair works without obstructing the vehicular traffic.
The Commissioner held an emergency review meeting with chief engineers Ziauddin, Suresh Kumar, R. Sridhar, Devender Reddy, chief city planner. He asked the officials to take up road repair works immediately on a war-footing as the roads were badly damaged due to incessant rain since the last two days. Especially, the Commissioner directed them to repair pot-holed roads.
Earlier, the Commissioner along with the officials of the Central Zone inspected some areas near Rajbhavan, Necklace Road. He also inspected the ongoing road restoration works in various areas of the Central Zone this morning.
