Hyderabad, April 17 (PMI): The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal held a large protest in the Dilsukhnagar area against alleged ‘Love Jihad’ activities. VHP national spokesperson Dr. Ravinutala Sashidhar described ‘Love Jihad’ as a poisonous game played by extremists against Hindu society. Calling it a “serious threat,” he urged the state governments to enact stringent laws to curb such activities effectively. He emphasized that every family must be vigilant about the safety of their daughters. Further, he suggested that temples should take up the social responsibility of creating awareness among the public.
Referring to recent incidents in Nasik (TCS) and Amravati (Maharashtra), the VHP leader expressed shock over the emergence of ‘Corporate Jihad’ and its impact on the future of Hindu women. Expressing grave concern over thousands of missing Hindu girls across Telangana, Dr. Sashidhar demanded a special investigation by the State Government to probe potential ‘Love Jihad’ links.
The protest saw participation from VHP district president Purushottam Reddy, district joint secretary Sanjay Sharma, and several others. (pressmediaofindia.com)
