Hyderabad’22 July (PMI) In a significant crackdown, the Narcotics Bureau conducted raids on several pubs in the Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad. The raids, which took place on Sunday night, led to the arrest of several youths who were found using drugs during a party. Acting on a tip-off, the police swiftly moved in and apprehended the individuals involved. Subsequent drug tests revealed that approximately 11 of the arrested youths tested positive for drug use. In a related operation, the Narcotics Bureau also raided a pub in the Durgam Cheruvu area, where more individuals were caught using narcotics. The authorities have intensified their efforts to curb drug abuse in the city, and further investigations are underway to identify the sources of the narcotics. No injuries or other incidents were reported during the raids.(PMI)
