Hyderabad’Nov 15 (PMI_Crime Bureau)A tragic incident took place in Krishnanagar, Bholakpur, Hyderabad, where a software employee died by suicide, reportedly due to mental distress after his wife filed a complaint against him with the police.
Srinivas Goud, a resident of Krishnanagar in the Gandhinagar police limits, had two sons. The elder son had passed away 12 years ago, while the younger son, Vishal Goud (28), was working as a software employee at TCS. In December 2023, he married Navya (25), a woman from Mallapur. However, frequent quarrels erupted between the couple. Despite several interventions and mediations by elders, the disputes continued. In March this year, Navya left for her mother’s home and did not return.
Two months ago, Navya lodged a complaint against Vishal at the Uppal Police Station. Vishal was called for counseling, and later, after a case was registered, the police summoned him again. Deeply distressed by these developments, Vishal reportedly took his own life by hanging himself at home. When he did not open the door, his family forcibly entered and found him hanging from the ceiling fan. He was rushed to Gandhi Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. After the postmortem, the body was handed over to the family.
Vishal’s family alleged that harassment by Navya and her parents led to his death and demanded strict action. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.(pressmediaofindia.com)
