HYD POLICE DEPOT UGANDAN NATIONAL IN DRUG TRAFFICKING CASE

Hyderabad, Dec.22 (PMI): Hyderabad City Police’s Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) has apprehended and deported a Ugandan national for overstaying in India and her alleged involvement in drug trafficking activities. The accused, Juliana Victor Nabitaka (27), was detained in the Tolichowki area after she failed to produce valid visa documents during verification.

Acting on credible intelligence, police coordinated with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Hyderabad, following which she was blacklisted and deported to Uganda from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on December 21, 2025. Hyderabad Police stated that the action was taken in the interest of national security and reaffirmed their commitment to making the city drug-free. (pressmediaofindia.com)
