Hyderabad, April 27(PMI)The annual event of the state Capital Hanuman Shoba Yatra was called off by the activists of Bajrang Dal today. The organisers have said that they were cancelling the Yatra by keeping in view of growing number of Covid 19 cases.
They also said that although they got permission from High court of the state to hold the Yatra with only 21 members, they had to call it off due to congregation of large number of devotees at Gowliguda. The HC had asked the organisers to follow Covid 19 virus prevention norms besides maintaining the limit of the participants to just 21 members. As a result, the hanuman Jayanthi celebrations were held without devotees at most of the places of the city and the state.
