CM Revanth urges Prahlad Joshi to release arrears immediately

New Delhi, March 4 (PMI): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has requested Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Prahlad Joshi, to disburse the outstanding amount of Rs. 1,468.94 crore for the rice that was purchased during the 2014-15 fiscal year.

            The Chief Minister, along with State Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy called on Union Minister Prahlad Joshi at his residence in New Delhi on Tuesday and requested him to release the pending dues immediately.

            Revanth Reddy also appealed Prahlad Joshi to release the arrears of Rs.343.27 crore for rice supplied under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana.

            The Chief Minister requested the Union Minister to extend the CMR delivery deadline. (PMI)
