Hyderabad, Jan.23 (PMI): Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has informed that the State government will implement 200 units of free electricity to households from next month through the Gruha Jyothi scheme which is one of the Six Guarantees given by the Congress party during the election campaign.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy reiterated that the Congress party’s six guarantees would be implemented within the first 100 days of the government formation and the State government would fulfill all other promises in a phased manner.
He alleged that former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao made Telangana as a debt-ridden State and the BRS government had looted the people.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy predicted that the Congress party would win majority of the Lok Sabha seats from Telangana in the upcoming elections and the BRS party would not secure a single seat in the elections.
He also alleged that former minister and BRS MLA Jagadish Reddy would soon go to jail in a connection with irregularities that were taken place during the execution of power plants in the previous government.
“Stringent actions would be initiated against those involved in the irregularities of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project ( KLIP) scheme and other projects,” Komatireddy said.(Pressmediaofindia.com)
