Hyderabad’Oct 4 (Crime Bureau-PMI) Telangana police on Saturday arrested four individuals following a road rage incident in Mancherial, which was caught on video and went viral on social media.
According to Mandamarri police, the confrontation occurred around midnight on Dussehra day between two youths on a bike and six other individuals after a dispute over an auto and two-wheeler. The six, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, allegedly attacked the bike riders with sticks and other objects. While four of the accused have been apprehended, police continue to search for the remaining two.
Road Accident Claims Two Lives in Suryapet
In a separate incident under the Thungathurthy police station limits in Suryapet district, a police constable and another individual died in a road accident. The victims, identified as Vemula Kaviraju (24) and Vemula Nagaraju (27), a CSSP constable of Kondapur battalion, were returning from their grandmother’s village after attending Dussehra celebrations. Around 2:30 am, their two-wheeler fell, causing one to die on the spot after hitting a rock, and the other to succumb to injuries during treatment. Police have registered a case and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
Seven-Year-Old Girl Found Dead in Hyderabad
