Hyderabad, Oct. 25 (PMI): The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) conducted its Annual General Body Meeting for 2024–25 on Saturday at T-Hub, Hyderabad, under the chairmanship of Cyberabad Police Commissioner and SCSC Chairman Avinash Mohanty.
The meeting reviewed key initiatives in safety and wellness and outlined future strategies through three focused panel discussions — Women, Children and Youth Safety, Cybersecurity and Physical Safety, and Road Safety, Traffic Management and Healthcare. SCSC Secretary General Ramesh Kaza and CEO Naved Khan hosted the event, which saw participation from over 250 representatives across corporates, schools, hospitals, hotels, and startups, along with all Cyberabad DCPs and members of the SCSC Executive Committee. Key highlights included the expansion of flagship programs such as *Sangamitra* and Suraksha Kavach, a revamp of the CISO Council, AI-driven safety awareness initiatives, and a plan to scale up SCSC-supported CCTV installations from 300 to 2,500. The Traffic Forum also announced an increase in Traffic Marshals from 135 to 200, along with new sustainability-focused transport measures.
Among the new initiatives introduced were a Hostel Safety Audit Website, Evacuation Drill Modules in collaboration with the Fire Department, EV-based Patrolling Vehicles, a Business Resilience Command and Control (BRCC) System, and Project Pravaah—providing cybersecurity support for MSMEs.
Traffic Marshal Shiva K. Yadav was felicitated for his bravery in saving a life during a road accident. The meeting concluded with a review of SCSC’s financial performance and a reaffirmation of its commitment to making Hyderabad safer, smarter, and more business-friendly. (PMI)
