Hyderabad, 29 October(Shoukat-PMI) 2025: The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced major traffic diversions in connection with the commencement of construction of the Elevated Corridor from Paradise Junction to Dairy Farm Road on NH-44, starting 30 October 2025. The construction is expected to last approximately nine months.

Joel Davis, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad.said the road stretch between Rajiv Gandhi Statue Junction and Balamrai will be closed in both directions for the duration of the construction. Motorists are also advised to avoid the road stretch from Balamrai to CTO Junction, as heavy congestion is expected on surrounding roads and junctions.
Alternative routes have been suggested as follows:
- 
From Balanagar to Panjagutta/Tank Bund: Tadbund → Mastan Café → Diamond Point → Right Turn → Mudford → NCC → JBS → SBI. 
- 
From Suchitra to Panjagutta/Tank Bund: Safe Express → Left Turn → Bapuji Nagar → Centre Point → Diamond Point → Mudfort → NCC → JBS → SBI. 
- 
From Tank Bund/Rani Gunj/Panjagutta/Rasoolpura/Plaza to Tadbund via CTO Junction: Divert at Rajiv Gandhi Statue Junction → Anna Nagar → Balamrai → Tadbund. 
- 
Anna Nagar residents traveling to Panjagutta/Tank Bund: Use local bylanes (Meeting Point, Hockey Ground, and L&O Police Station) or travel via Balamrai.
