Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana E S L Narasimhan on Wednesday called on President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. It was a courtesy call, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said on a social networking site.Narasimhan is the common governor for the two states.
Kovind, 71, was last month elected as the 14th President of India defeating UPA-backed Meira Kumar. He replaced Pranab Mukherjee, whose term ended recently.
