Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Monday reacted on the meeting between his
Telangana counterpart K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaiak at
Bhubneswar.
Stating that he did not know
much about the meeting, Naidu said it was the Odisha government that filed a case
against Polvaram irrigation project, which is being built in the AP State. He
claimed that they had already completed 62.8 percent of works of the Polavaram
project so far. He said the project had already received CBIP award for being
the best project in the country. He said that they would create a new
record by laying 28,000 cubic meters of concrete as part of the project.
Naidu claimed that there was
no harm to the Telangna government due to the Polavaram project. The AP
CM’s statement comes in the wake of the meeting of the Telangana and Odisha CMs
at Bhubneswar on Sunday. The Telangana CM has launched a nationwide
campaign for formation of a third front consisting of Non-BJP and
