Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the first time entered the AP Legislative Council Session on Monday. The first day of the 33rd Session commenced in the morning and was presided by Shariff Mohammed Ahmed the Chairman of the AP Legislative Council.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy greeted all the Council members warmly as he entered the AP Legislative Council for the first time. As part of ongoing Assembly sessions, CM YS Jagan had attended the Legislative Council. TDP MLC Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad got up came towards YS Jagan shook hands with him.
Earlier this morning, Ministers Avanthi Srinivas and Botsa Satyanarayana spoke about the special category status and YSRCP’s role in fighting for it in the Lok Sabha and at the centre.
Today’s Legislative Council itinerary included a motion on the address delivered by the Governor on Friday. Dr Ummareddy Venkateswarlu will move the motion and Krishna Murthy Janga will second the motion.
