Hyderabad, The Jubilee Hills police have booked a case against an youngster who was caught during a drive against drunk driving, for allegedly manhandling the Traffic Police on duty on Friday night.
The Traffic Police who were conducting a drive at the Jubilee Hills check post, stopped a car for a breath analyzer test of the driver. The person driving the vehicle, Dileep was stated to have tested with alcohol consumption above permissible levels, recording 185 points. Dileep’s friend Ankith, who was seated next to him, started arguing with the cops in an inebriated condition and also allegedly slapped them. Infuriated at this, the police officials also reportedly manhandled him.
Following a complaint filed by a traffic constable, Jitender, a case has been booked against Ankit and the police is investigating the matter.
