NALGONDA’11 July 24: A 19-year-old woman, Kalyani, died by suicide in Chintalagudem village of Nalgonda district, Telangana, after allegedly enduring relentless harassment from two men who claimed to be in love with her. According to reports, Aruri Siva and Kommanaboyina Madhu, both residents of the same village, had been harassing Kalyani for some time. They allegedly threatened to share private photos of her on social media if she did not reciprocate their advances.
Taking advantage of her being alone at home, the two men reportedly called and continued their harassment, pushing Kalyani to a breaking point. Distressed by the situation, she consumed pesticide. Before succumbing to the poison, she managed to contact her parents and inform them of the ordeal. Locals rushed Kalyani to the hospital, but she tragically died while undergoing treatment. Police are currently investigating the case and searching for the two accused, who fled the village after the incident.
