Mamata came to her parents house in Alur and gave birth to girl child in February early this year. After completion of five months on Monday, her father Paramesappa along with family members accompanied her to in-laws house in Alur.
When they arrived at the house, the family members of Mamatha’s in-laws started blaming Mamatha for not giving birth to a boy child. They decided not to allow Mamatha inside the house. Mamatha’s husband Gali Lingappa was not present at house. The victim along with her father Paramesappa approached the police. Based on a complaint, the police registered a case of harassment against Mamatha’s in-laws and launched investigation.
