Wi-Fi services in libraries soon– Kadiam

Hyderabad,  Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari today said that Wi-Fi services will be provided in the libraries besides internet services and digitization across the state. He announced  sanctioning of  Rs 1.71 crore for modernisation of central and regional libraries in the Warangal city. Srihari congratulated national Kabaddi player Aziz Khan for taking over as District Libraries Center Chairman. The government gave due recognition to  Aziz Khan who got accolades at international level for the state and nation.

Aziz Khan got recognition by the government for his services in the sports,  he said. He asked Khan to make efforts for developing the libraries and offer better services. ‘I used to make regular visits to the central library for studies and it is in bad shape due to negligence by the previous governments. Now for the repairs and modernisation funds will be provided’ he said. Stating that he provided internet facility in the libraries on becoming education minister Srihari said that they plan to launch soon wi-fi services.

            The State government giving top priority for minority welfare like never before, he said adding that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has offered 200 Gurukul Institutes to them. Srihari also claimed that the government is giving Rs 20 lakh scholarships to the minorities for higher education and offered free clothes to the poor Muslims during Ramzan festival.
