Where is your “One Lakh Jobs Promise” KCR

Hyderabad, June 23 (PMI): A round conference meeting on “One Lakh Jobs Promise” by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao here on Sunday.

            Initiating a discussion on the issue, Laxman said the Telangana government had totally failed in providing jobs to students of Telangana State. Students, who cleared the examinations after hard work, were not getting appointment letters. He said while literacy rate of Telangana was only 66%, the remaining 33% people are illiterates. The Chief Minister has miserably failed to keep his promise of education to students from KG to PG.

Stating that during the height of Telangana agitation, KCR had warned that the corporate colleges will be closed down, but today ironically he joined hands with them and pursuing education business. He also said parents were suffering to pay the exorbitant fees for education and the poor people even can’t provide normal education to their ward now. He also said there are no guides available to PhD applicants and also to increase infrastructure for research. He demanded that the State government fill the faculty posts first in the universities as 70% of them remained vacant.

BC communities’ leader R Krishnaiah said in the Telangana agitation nearly 1,200 people died. The people strongly believed jobs will be available to youth if Telangana State was created. KCR also had assured that there will one job for a family, but today he failed to provide the much needed jobs to the youth. He demanded that government reveal the obstacles in recruiting 2,50,000 government jobs. He also praised the Union government for giving job notifications in Railways, banks and others.

BJP MLC Ramchender Rao said there was no response from the government to his questions. He made it clear that would raise the burning problem of unemployment in the Counsel. Professors of OU and youths of different professions had talked about the problems in getting jobs and works in recruiting.. (PMI)
