Hyderabad, Nov.4 (PMI): An increased pension of Rs 2016 will be given to people from December 11 on retaining power, caretaker minister K T Rama Rao has said.
Addressing a TRS public meeting at Yadagiripalle in Yadadri-Bhongir district here today, KTR reiterated that the State government would reduce age limit to 55 years from 60 years to get the pension. He urged the people to vote for the TRS for welfare and spending huge funds for Yadagirigutta temple development on the lines of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), he said.
“The Congress leadership used false names to move courts to stall the progress and irrigation projects. The TRS regime in December will give Rs 3016 unemployment allowance to youth and the same amount to physically challenged persons in the State, he averred. He also criticized the previous governments for miserably failing to give 24-hour power supply to the farm sector. The previous Congress regime gave power supply for six hours in two spells and irrigated only two acres against four, he charged. He also reminded that the Congress leaders moved courts against the projects and developmental works by filing over 200 cases.
The TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has waived off Rs 17,000 crore crop loans besides giving 24-hour power supply to the farm sector. He hoped that the KCR regime will waive off Rs one lakh crop loan and increase present Rythu Badhu amount of Rs 8,000 per acre to Rs 10,000 after the Assembly polls. In the wake of the unholy alliance of the Congress and the TDP coupled with Rahul Gandhi giving seats and Chandrababu distributing money in the elections, the people will vote for the ruling party.
Kaleshwaram will be completed soon to irrigate 1.40 lakh acres in Aler segment besides setting up industrial corridor from Hyderabad and Warangal and extend MMTS train facility to Rayagir, he said. The Congress failed to do anything in 70 years and got the symbol of ‘blunt hand, BJP got flower for keeping flowers in the ears of the people and Kodandaram’s TJS got match box symbol for poking thorns, he ridiculed. The people should vote for the TRS to ensure that the growth trajectory should not stop, he pleaded. (PMI)
