Hyderabad ‘Nov 10 (PMI). In the wake of Monday evening’s blast in New Delhi, Hyderabad police have stepped up security across the city. Intensive patrolling has been launched in crowded areas, with surprise checks being carried out at hotels and lodges to trace any suspicious individuals.
With the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election scheduled for Tuesday, the city police were already on alert. Following the Delhi incident, senior officials instructed all Station House Officers (SHOs) to brief their teams on the latest developments and maintain round-the-clock vigilance.
