Hyderabad, Oct 8 : The High Court has posted the case relating to voters list corrections to Wednesday. The election commission today filed counter affidavit following the directions of the High Court in regard to the petition filed by the former minister and Congress party senior leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy alleging that there were several irregularities in voters list.
The election commission mentioned in its affidavit that it has resolved 34 lakh objections and enrollment of votes and making corrections was a regular process, and it was not possible to keep a dead line for it. Reacting on it, petitioners counsel urged the Court to give time to submit more details to it. Accepting the petitioner’s request, the Court postponed the case to Wednesday.
