VH slams CM for not giving even a single Ad on Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti

Hyderabad,: Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao has said it was sad on the part of the state government that it failed to give a single advertisement on the occasion of Mahathma Gandhi birth anniversary.

Speaking to the media here on Monday at Gandhi Bhavan, VH said that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s word on corruption was only confined to words and there was no action. Asking KCR to tell as to what happened to Miyapur land scam, drugs mafia and Nayeem cases, VH said that KCR creates tension but does nothing in regard to these cases. He said that nobody believes KCR, who was speaking on corruption keeping the corrupt officials Naveen Mittal and BP Acharya by his side, if he speaks on eradication of corruption in the State.

He asked KCR to tell as to why he failed to initiate action against Navin Mittal though the Court confirmed his corruption. He questioned KCR to tell as to why he failed to respond on the TRS leaders, who encroached upon Bathukamma Kunta in the city. He said KCR was fearing that several sitting MLAs would face defeat in the next election and hence KCR was getting ready to cut tickets to many sitting MLAs.

As part of it, KCR was threatening several MLAs in the name of corruption. The ministers were stating privately that the power wrested was only in the hands of four leaders — KCR, KTR, Kavitha and Harish Rao, he alleged.
