Hyderabad, : Senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao today dubbed the decision of CM KCR to build a new secretariat and assembly building complex as Tuglak act and asked the latter to drop his plan.
Speaking to media persons, he reminded that his party had gathered opinion poll through ballot boxes when the State government wanted to construct a new Secretariat at Bison Polo grounds. He said they would once again hold the opinion poll on the construction of the new Assembly building at Irrum Manzil. He said they would turn the new Assembly into a function hall and the Council building into a library after returning to power in the State.
