Uttam Thanks Rahul for Giving him Second Term

Hyderabad,  TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy has extended thanks to the AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi for giving a chance to continue in TPCC post for second term.
On Monday, Uttam Kumar Reddy visited Gandhi Bhavan for the first time after getting a chance to continue in PCC post. On the occasion, Uttam exuded confidence that the Congress party would come to power in 2019 elections. He said that the Congress party will emerge as a victorious in 14 Assembly constituencies and two Parliament seats.
Stating that the party would come to power in centre under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Uttam said that appropriate position will be given to the party activists, who work hard for the sake of the party. He asked party activists to call him (mobile number: 9848051082) if they faced any trouble. “I will extend any help to the party workers. Every party worker in Telangana is  my family members”, he assured.
Participating in the TPCC women wing meeting, Uttam said good days were very near for  women. It was common to the leaders expecting positions in politics,  and positions will come to the people who  works hard for the sake of party.  Many leaders worked hard for the sake of party. Telangana is the one and only state, which has no woman minister, in the entire country. It was unfortunate that  women didn’t get a chance to assume cabinet position in TRS party regime though  women constituted 50 percent of the population. The Congress party has given MLC to woman and no woman MLC from ruling party, he pointed out. He said that women wing chief Sharada may get MLC position in the near future.  Congress is the one and only party  which strived for the sake of women empowerment. The Congress party was the party which  extended financial assistance to the Self Help Groups, he said and asked TPCC women wing to complete appointing of women wings within 15 days.
Earlier, the Congress activists indulged in celebrations by bursting crackers and distributing sweets and raised slogans in favour of Uttam when he  came to Gandhi Bhavan.
