Hyderabad 18 June (PMI) In a heartwarming gesture promoting unity and respect for cultural diversity, Shri G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister for Coal and Mines and President of BJP Telangana, unveiled the Eid-e-Ghadeer 2025 poster at the BJP State Headquarters, Dr. Shyam Prasad Mukherjee Bhavan, Nampally.
Joined by BJP State General Secretary Shri Gujjala Premender Reddy, Dr. G. Manohar Reddy (State Convenor, Waqf Sudhar Janajagaran Abhiyan), and Shri Srinivas Netha, the Minister extended greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion. Eid-e-Ghadeer’s Historical and Religious Importance
Mir Firasath Ali Baqri, speaking at the event, highlighted the spiritual significance of Eid-e-Ghadeer for the Shia Muslim community. He recounted the event when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), on the 18th of Zilhaj at Maidan-e-Ghadeer in Saudi Arabia, appointed Hazrat Ali (PBUH) as his successor with the proclamation:
