Hyderabad, Stating that the budget introduced by the Centre on Thursday was “budget of corporate forces and not common man’s budget”, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that the budget was demoralised the Telangana people.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, Bhatti alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was misguiding the people with his words. “There was link between Modi’s words and his works. The committee appointed by the Centre to fix the expenditure on cotton growing per quintal was Rs 6,000 but the Centre fixed at Rs 4,000 per quintal as minimum support price. “How it could be minimum support price? Was it correct on the part of Modi”, he asked.
“The Centre, which failed to implement 2016-17 Health Insurance scheme, was now suddenly stating that it will provide Rs. 5 lakh insurance. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitly’s budget was for name sake. Jaitly showed bare hands to Telugu States in the budget. The Centre failed to fulfil the assurances given during division of the State though four years were gone. “Why the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao failed spell his opinion on the budget? Whether KCR colluded with Modi? KCR is afraid of his mistakes as Modi may fix KCR? Whether Modi threatening KCR or KCR himself committed mistakes?”, he questioned. Only Rs 650 crore to Telangana out of Rs 25 lakh crore budget?, he wondered and asked whether Telangana was not part of the countryn.
The BJP has to answer on it, he said. The budget was in a manner that it will hand over the nation to corporate forces. The then Congress government had accorded Telangana State for the betterment of the people of the region. The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was more interested in his self interests. KCR has to perform his duties, he said and asked MP Kavitha, who stated that there was no future to Congress, to learn that as to how many times TRS lost elections as she was saying it for Congress losing election one time.
