External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar said progress is being made regarding evacuation of Indian nationals from Ukraine. In a tweet, the Minister said the first flight to Mumbai with 219 Indian nationals has taken off from Romania.
He said External Affairs Ministry teams are working on the ground round the clock and he is personally monitoring the evacuation efforts. The Minister thanked Foreign Minister of Romania Bogdan Aurescu for his government’s cooperation.
