Two Students Playing Beach Volleyball Die In Ukairine

Hyderabad: Two Telugu students belonging to Telangana State, studying medicine in Ukarine, met with watery grave while playing beach volleyball on Tuesday.

According to information reaching here, the deceased were identified as Shivakanth Reddy and Ashok Murthy, both residents of BN Reddy Nagar of Hayathnagar. Both were in the final year of medicine and were expected to complete their course in few months and return back.

            Information received by the families of the deceased students, some friends including Shivakanth Reddy and Ashok Murthy were playing volleyball in the beach. Suddenly high waves lashed the beach they were playing and one Mukesh was carried away by the waves.

           Noticing their friend being washed away in the waves, both Shivakanth Reddy and Ashok Murthy jumped into the sea and saved him. Even as they brought their friend safety on the shore, in a split second another big tide hit them and both were washed way in the waters. Rescue teams are stated to be engaged in retrieving their bodies.
