Hyderabad: The Cyberabad SOT police are cracking down on the ganja smugglers who have caught sight of Dhulpet, which has been recognized as a Gudumba-free area. In this sequence, Rajendranagar SOT police arrested two accused who had busted a gang supplying cannabis to Dhulpet in Rajahmundry. 230 kg of ganja worth Rs.52 lakh, a car and a two-wheeler along with Rs.8.5 lakh in cash were seized from them.

Hyderabad , (PMI): The Cyberabad SOT police are cracking down on the ganja smugglers who have caught sight of Dhulpet, a Gudumba-free area. In this sequence, Rajendranagar SOT police arrested two accused who had busted a gang supplying cannabis to Dhulpet in Rajahmundry. 230 kg of ganja worth Rs.52 lakh, a car and a two-wheeler along with Rs.8.5 lakh in cash were seized from them. DCP Jagdeeswar Reddy along with Additional DCP Rashmiperamal revealed the background of the case in a press conference held at Rajendranagar Zone DCP office on Thursday. Ramakrishna is a tennis coach from Rajahmundry in AP.Ramakrishna, who was used to bad addictions, was greedy for making easy money and after some time he started supplying ganja directly by working as an assistant to ganja smugglers.
Cases have also been registered in many police stations in AP against Ramakrishna, who has been smuggling ganja for three years. Even after being caught by the police many times, the situation did not change. Recently, Alluri bought 230 kg of ganja from Krishna of Lambasinghi area of Seetharamaraju district and left for the city in a car to supply it to Suryraj Singh in Dhulpet. On reaching Shabad on Thursday morning, Rajendranagar SOT Inspector Venkat Reddy and Shabad Police arrested the accused after receiving reliable information. At the same time, Suryraj Singh of Dhulpet and Jummeratbazar, who had come there to take ganja, was also detained.(Press media of india)
