Hyderabad May 8 (PMI): The Keesaera Police Station registered a case as Cr No 227/2020 U/sec. 420,406,468,471 IPC against two persons (i) Baharat Goud and (ii) Devabathini Venkateshwar Rao @ Vasu Chowdhary who apprehended by The sleuths of Special Operations Team, Malkajgiri Zone along with Keesara Police for manipulating vehicle number plate, for preparing fake RC and pasting POLICE sticker on the vehicle crossing toll gates, police check posts posing as departmental vehicle and moving in the restricted areas during lockdown period.
According to Press Note Of Rachakonda PRO on the tip off information, SOT Malkajgiri Team intercepted one TATA safari storm white colour vehicle bearing No. AP 07 BM 5555 with POLICE sticker on the vehicle and found two persons in the vehicle and on physically checking the vehicle found two liquor bottles, copy of the vehicle RC and on enquiring with them about the POLICE sticker on the vehicle they informed that they have put the sticker so that POLICE persons posted at check posts should not stop their vehicle and also used the POLICE sticker at toll gates for not paying toll tax.
Further, on checking the engine No. and Chassis No. with the RC found in the vehicle to be fake one prepared by them.
Both the persons informed their names as 1) Bharath Goud resident of Nagaram, Keesara and 2) Venkateshwar rao @ Vasu chowdhary resident of Kamala Nagar, Kushaiguda and stated that the vehicle belongs to his friend Balaji @ Bala resident of Visakhapatnam and using the vehicle for their personal use since three months. Further, they informed the original vehicle number is AP 31 EF 0887 owner is BALAJI. On checking the vehicle registration number, the vehicle is registered on Anantha Venkata venu resident of Pendurthi, Vizag.
Further, verifying to identify the actual owner of the vehicle to know about further details of the vehicle. Both persons along with seized vehicle, fake RC, MP ticket vehicle pass, two liquor bottles and cash 14,000/- are handed over to Keesara PS for taking further necessary action in the matter.
The above raids were done under the direct Supervision of Sri Mahesh M. Bhagwat, Commissioner of Police Rachakonda, Sri. J. Surender Reddy, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, Special Operations Team, Sri. G. Naveen Kumar, Inspector, SOT Malkajgiri Zone, Sri Narender Goud Inspector, Keesara PS, Sri. Srikanth, Sub-Inspector SOT and staff of SOT Malkajgiri Zone and Keesara PS.
