Two arrested by Excise and Prohibition Task Force for allegedly selling ganja

Hyderabad: A software engineer and an IIT graduate  were arrested by the Excise and Prohibition Task Force, for allegedly selling ganja on Saturday

According to the officials, an IIT graduate Pavan, who stays at a PG Hostel in SR Nagar was found selling the contraband to consumers after bringing it from Odisha.

On information, the team raided the hostel and arrested him. A total of 1.2 kg of ganja was seized from him.

The other person, Lokesh who stays at Manikonda was arrested by the Task Force from his house.

He had procured the ganja from Srikanth at Kukatpally and selling to IT professionals and students. The official seized over kilogram of the contraband from him.

The sleuths identified 22 persons who bought ganja from them and are initiating legal action
