NEW YORK/ WASHINGTON/ KABUL/ DAMASCUS/ KARACHI/ ISLAMABAD: Beside continuous denials and ignorance and despite ‘criminal unawareness’ and worst attitude and behavior of bigotries of immigration departments across the world especially of uneducated, illiterate, immature, backward and world most bogus (like “CONTENTED FROG OF/IN A POND”) Australian visa/ case officers and immigration authorities that there is no existence of terrorists in Pakistan now, while, trusting in ‘fake and inverse handouts’, ‘press releases’, ‘official announcements’ news and claims of Law Enforcing Agencies (LEAs), secret agencies, security forces even President, Prime Minister, Governors, Chief Ministers, Ministers, Senators and elected and unelected public and private representatives’ statements, assertions and declaration they take stand on their version but once again they all would have to face historical insult and nastiest defeat when the United Nations (UN) yesterday did not only designate the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader Noor Wali Mehsud as a global terrorist (as Press Media of India/ PMI) has been reporting, highlighting, claiming, revealing and intimating regarding the existence and presence of terrorists groups in Pakistan particularly about the position, activities, plans, movement and targets of following terrorists networks), but also declared that world most criminal set-ups, chains and groups like Islamic State of Iraq and Syria also known as Islamic State of Iraq and Levant/ ISIL (both are sub groups of Daesh), Tehreek-e-Taliban Afghanistan (TTA), JUI, JA, SSP, JeM, BLA, LeJ, JI, BH, RAW, JUP, Mosad and dozens of other most dangerous national and global terrorists and their groups along with their supervisors, facilitators, financiers, leaders and heads are existing and enjoying in Pakistan (shame on them those always remain not only against the PMI stories, reporting and exclusive news but also firm on their wrong versions, mindsets, discriminatory behaviors, anti-religious and anti-cultural thinking, backwardness and so-called, self-created and self made standards), sources and victims claimed and confirmed.
The decision was taken by the United Nations Security Council’s Sanctions Committee when it added Mehsud to its ISIL and al-Qaeda Sanctions List. “Pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISL (Daesh), al-Qaeda, and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved the addition of the entry specified to its ISIL (Daesh) and al-Qaeda Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council Resolution 2368 (2017), and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations,” the statement issued by the UN said.
The United States welcomed the development, as it had domestically designated Noor Wali as a terrorist in September 2019. “Welcome news that the @UN [United Nations] has added Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan leader Noor Wali Mehsud to its ISIL & AQ sanctions list.
TTP is responsible for many deadly terrorist attacks in Pakistan,” the State Department said in its tweet. The TTP was also put on the Specially Designated Global Terrorist list by the State Department. Noor Wali was named the leader of TTP in June 2018 after the death of Mullah Fazlullah.
Meanwhile, Pakistan welcomed the designation of Noor Wali Mehsud, the leader of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan by the United Nations Security Council’s 1267 Sanctions Committee on its ISIL (Da esh) and al-Qaeda Sanctions List.
The sanctions are being implemented by Pakistan in compliance with the relevant UNSC resolutions and we hope that other countries will also follow suit, Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement.
TTP is already a UN-designated terrorist organization and is responsible for numerous terrorist attacks inside Pakistan. Pakistan has defeated TTP through comprehensive security operations in the country.
However, TTP continues to operate from outside Pakistan s borders with support from its third-country facilitators. Pakistan will continue to pursue its policy of fighting against those involved in participating, financing, planning, facilitating and perpetrating terrorism, the spokesperson remarked.
The Pakistani government has welcomed a United Nations Security Council’s (UNSC) decision to add the leader of the Tehrik-e Taliban militant group (TTP) to a sanctions list of individuals and entities subject to an assets freeze, travel ban, and arms embargo.
The sanctions against TTP chief Noor Wali Mehsud “are being implemented by Pakistan in compliance with the relevant UNSC resolutions and we hope that other countries will also follow suit,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on July 17.
A sanctions committee of the Secrity Council on July 17 designated Mehsud for “participating in the financing, planning, facilitating, or perpetrating of acts or activities by, in conjunction with, under the name of, on behalf of, or in support of entities associated” with the Al-Qaeda terrorist network.
Mehsud was named the TTP leader in June 2018 following the death of the group’s former leader, Maulana Fazlullah, in a U.S. strike in Afghanistan.
Under Mehsud’s leadership, TTP claimed responsibility for deadly attacks across Pakistan.
The group was designated by the Security Council in 2011 for its association with Al-Qaeda.
The United States designated Masud as a global terrorist in September last year.
