TS PLANS BOOSTER DOSE, MASKS MUST HARISH MINISTER STARTS 100 BEDS HOSPITAL AT DUBBAKA

Hyderabad, Dec.25 (PMI): Finance minister T Harish Rao today appealed to people to wear masks, take vaccines and maintain physical distance. With less severity Omicron variant spreads speedily and we have to sanitise hands and wear masks. We asked the Centre for booster dose and vaccination for 18 years old, he said after launching a 100 bed hospital at Dubbaka.

He said that the government will increase health facilities in the hospitals and asked the people to wear masks to stop corona spread. The minister said that 30 beds capacity was increased to 100 beds and said to provide an ICU facility. We will take more steps to provide children care and health services, he said. The minister said that in future oxygen plants, Basthi Dawakhanas will be made available in Dubbaka. Earlier the town did not have such health facilities and now the TRS Government increased them to provide better health care services to the pregnant women, deliveries and children. KCR Kits are a big hit with more deliveries in the government run hospitals, the minister claimed. We will appoint more health staff and offer training to nurses at Niloufer hospital to treat children, he said. KCR Nagar in Sidhipet has basthi dawakhanas and will be brought to Dubbaka in near future, he said.(PMI)
