Hyderabad : The Telangana Electricity employees have taken up hunger strike on Tuesday demanding Andhra Pradesh state government to take Andhra native engineers staying in Telangana Electricity department to their state.
The Telangana employees demanded the AP state government to take up electricity employees division immediately. They lashed out at Andhra Pradesh government for not taking their electricity employees to their own state though three years have gone after the division of the state. They alleged that Andhra Pradesh government was keeping quiet in this regard and said that the AP government was trying to continue the domination of Seemandhra employees in Telangana power corporations. They lamented that they were meted out injustice in getting promotions due to Seemandhra employees in electricity department.
