Hyderabad, Alleging that the TRS government was running ‘Police Raj’ in the state, TPCC vice president Mallu Ravi has questioned the state government and Nalgonda SP to tell as to why Nalgonda Two Town CI Venkateshwarlu went missing.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, Mallu said CI Venkateshwarlu disappeared due to the “unbearable” pressure mounted by the government on him while investigating Nalgonda Municipal chairperson Boddupalli Laxmi’s husband Boddupalli Srinivas murder. He also said the Congress was conducting a condolence meeting for Boddupalli Srinivas on February 4 at Nalgonda.
Telangana State Congress party affairs in-charge RC Kuntia, TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, TPCC working president Bhatti Vikramarka, CLP leader K Jana Reddy, Opposition leader in Legislative Council Shabbir Ali and several other leaders would participate in the meeting.
