Hyderabad: September 12 (Ali Abbas-PMI) A memorial prayer gathering will be held on September 13 at 7:30 PM at Bait-ul-Qaim in honor of the late Mir Mumtaz Ali Javed, a renowned personality who served the city of Wilayat Aliؑ and Aza Hussainؑ with dedication. Maulana Bilal Kazmi will address the gathering.
During his lifetime, Mir Mumtaz Ali Javed served as the Vice President of Anjuman under Wana Shabbir. Like his father, he upheld the dignity of the organization and remained steadfast on the path of truth despite any pressure. Even the then-President, Alamdar Bhai, sought his guidance and advice on important matters.
Late Javed’s contributions to administrative affairs remain unforgettable. By following the methods of Mir Ahmad Ali and Mir Hussain Ali, he kept the organization free from conflicts. His courteous and respectful nature is now reflected in his children, who maintain close ties with their father’s friends and associates. One member of the Anjuman said that they remember him fondly during the days of mourning and emphasized that the organization today still needs capable leaders like him. While current office-bearers are competent, Javed has the experience to handle challenges effectively.
He played a prominent role in bringing Azadari to households through the RMS Channel, and today his children continue this important work under their mother’s guidance. Javed also launched a separate channel, OCN News, which earned recognition in the media world. Many reporters who worked there are now respected journalists in electronic media.
