TJAC Chief Resents Govt’s Order to Arrest its Critics

Hyderabad,  TJAC Chairman Prof. M Kodandaram today alleged that the TRS government was hatching a conspiracy to arrest whoever posted comments against the State government in the social media.
After hoisting the national flag at TJAC office here on Friday, Prof Kodandaram said TJAC was opposing every step taken by the State government with political vendetta. He said the State government filed cases against MRPS founder-president Manda Krishna Madiga, TDP leader Vonteru Prathap Reddy and Congress leader Addanki Dayakar with political ill-will. The State government was trying to misuse IPC Sections 506 and 507, he said.
Prof. Kodandaram made these remarks in the context of the decision taken by the State government, which issued a G.O. to interrogate any person without taking permission of the court. He reminded that the Constitution stated that the opportunities will be given equally to the people. “There was no mistake in the Constitution, but the mistake was with the rulers and hence the opposition was coming from the people every time the governments were trying to change the Constitution”, he added.
Prof Kodandaram said the TJAC was discussing its entry into politics and opined that the aspirations of Telangana movement will not be fulfilled without the change of politics. He said that TJAC will announce a decision on floating a political party in February.
