Hyderabad, Feb.25 (PMI: Bhongir SOT team intercepted an Auto trolley goods carrier at Reddybavi, Choutuppal town and apprehended three accused Shaik Mohammad Ibnaan, Rukmuddin Abdul Razak Shaikh alias Irfan, Ahmed Mohammed Ishaq Merchant, all residents of Navi Mumbai for procuring and transporting 200 kg of Ganja packets from Ambdar village, Sambalpur district, Odisha State and proceeding to Navi Mumbai for selling.
In another case, a drug peddler was nabbed by SOT Malkajgiri and Keesara police of Rachakonda and seized 10 kg of ganja worth Rs 3 lakh and one cell phone from his possession. On February 24, the sleuths of SOT, Malkajgiri Zone along with Keesara police apprehended Barik Jagannath, a mason of Prajasai gardens, Bandlaguda village in Keesara for indulging in illegal transportation of Ganja from Odisha to Hyderabad and seized 10 kg of Ganja worth Rs 3 lakh and one Mobile Phone from his possession.
