Hyderabad, June 28:(Shoukat-PMI) The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (South East Zone) on Saturday apprehended three individuals for allegedly selling e-cigarettes illegally in the city. A total of 190 e-cigarettes, two motorcycles, three mobile phones, and ₹13,500 in cash were seized during the operation.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohd Sultan Khan (38), Mohd Kabir Hussain (22), and Mohd Moid Pasha (23). According to police officials, the trio were procuring e-cigarettes from a supplier identified as Sami and reselling them to customers at inflated prices.
Acting on credible information, the task force conducted a raid and detained the accused along with the seized material. The suspects and the recovered property have been handed over to the Abids Police Station for further investigation and legal action.
The police have reiterated their commitment to curbing the sale of banned tobacco products and urged citizens to report any such illegal activities.(pressmediaofindia.com)
