Three Arrested in Jubilee Hills Property Fraud and Assault Case

Hyderabad Jan 10 (PMI) Jubilee Hills Police have arrested three persons in connection with a high-profile property dispute that escalated into a violent attack at Road No. 25, Jubilee Hills. The arrests relate to Crime Nos. 666/2025 and 686/2025, registered on a complaint by Ashish Kumar Ahuja.

According to police, the complainant’s father legally purchased the property through a registered sale deed in July 2009 and has been in possession since then. However, Accused No.1, who had already sold the property and retained no rights over it, allegedly executed a fraudulent gift deed in October 2025 in favour of another accused, using fabricated documents as part of a criminal conspiracy.

Police said that on November 9, 2025, when the complainant and his associate visited the property after learning about fresh trespass, they were wrongfully confined, threatened, and brutally assaulted with iron rods and knives, resulting in grievous injuries. The accused also allegedly robbed them of personal belongings during the attack.

During investigation, police examined CCTV footage, technical evidence, and land records obtained from the Sub-Registrar Office and the Jubilee Hills Co-operative Housing Society. The evidence, police said, clearly established forgery, conspiracy, and the use of violence to forcibly dispossess the lawful owner.

Based on the evidence, Accused Nos. 1, 3, and 4 — Mrs. Polavarapu Sridevi, P. Nayanth, and Paleti Sreenadh Reddy — were arrested on January 10, 2026, near the disputed property. Two mobile phones allegedly used in the commission of the offence were seized.

Efforts are underway to trace other absconding accused, while the arrested persons are being produced before the court for judicial remand, police added. The arrests were made under the supervision of senior officers of the Jubilee Hills Zone.(pressmediaofindia.com)
