Hyderabad’ Nov’ 6 (PMI) : The VHP and Akhil Paksha have demanded immediate arrest of those who destroyed the idols in the temple. On Wednesday, a huge rally was held in Shamshabad under the leadership of VHP and Akhil Paksha. Speaking on this occasion, they demanded immediate arrest and punishment of those who vandalized the Navagraha idols in the Hanuman Temple of Airport Colony in Shamshabad on Tuesday morning.
A rally was held from Ambedkar statue in the town to Old Police Station, Old Shamshabad, Tehsildar Office, Mahaveer Colony, RB Nagar, Madhuranagar Colony to Shamshabad RGIA Police Station. Later, the petition was handed over to ACP Srinivas. The state government wants to rebuild the destroyed idols in the temple. They warned that they will continue the movement until those who carry out attacks and hurt the sentiments of Hindus are punished. Joint Rangareddy District DCCB Director Satish, Mohan Rao, Srinivas, Rajender, Konnamolla Srinivas, Venugopal, BJV State President Mahender, Kumar, Nandakishore, Councilors Venkatesh, Amrita Reddy and many other leaders participated in the rally.

A voluntary bandh was observed by schools and business units as the VHP called for an all-party bandh demanding the arrest of those who vandalized the idols. CI Balaraju said that arrangements have been made to prevent any untoward incident.(Press media of india)
