Hyderabad Nov 12 (PMI): The legal President of Markazi Anjuman Matami Gurohan (MSMG) Hyderabad (Regd) TS, Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat, senior journalist met with first Muslim Home Minister of Telangana State Sri Mohammed Mahmood Ali along with his body members Ameer Ali Shahnawaz, Mir Mazhar Ali khan Razvi (Vice Presidents), Syed Ali Raza Abedi (General Secretary), Shabbir Hasan (Media In-charge) and members of the (MAMG) expressed their gratitude to Telangana Government and Home Minister Sri Mohammed Mahmood Ali for extending their support and facilities provided during the 68 mourning days of “Imam Hussainas” the grandson of Prophet Muhammadsaws who was martyred along with family members and his companions on the plains of Karbala in present day Iraq.
A well-known TRS leader of Shia Community Layeq Ali Khan informed Home Minister that MAMG was formed in 1955 and since 2008 Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat is being unanimously elected as President. He has been rendering his service for MAMG since last twelve (12) years and representing the programs and organizing Juloos (Processions) before all Government departments, said Mr Layeq Ali. The Home Minister said he is aware of this and know Najaf Ali Shoukat and also said that he himself, Telangana Government and particularly Hon’ble Chief Minister Telangana State Sri K. Chandra Shekar Rao respects Muharram and expressed his satisfaction that 68 mourning days of Azadari were performed on grand level peacefully without any hurdles and disturbance. He said for CM KCR the people of Telangana State irrespective of cast, creed and religion are like his family and it’s his duty to take care of them and give respect to everyone on their religious occasions.
The president MAMG Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat Senior Journalist with office bearers of (MAMG) requested with Hon’ble Home Minister to use his good rapport in Telangana Government for construction of a “Musafirkhana” for the mourners of “Imam Hussainas” who comes from various District of Telangana State as well as from other states of India to commemorate “Arbaeen-e-Imam Hussainas” as well as Ashura on 10th Muharram Procession Alam-e-Mubarak of BIBIs.a. . On this the Hon’ble Home Minister said he will represent it before the Government authority and assured to extend all his support for it, every one respects the sacrifice and martyrdom of “Imam Hussain.as”
The Home Minister Sri Mohammed Mahmood Ali expressed his pleasure on meeting the delegation of MAMG led by Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat, a senior journalist and a well known personality in Shia Community globally whose contribution towards the betterment and well-being of humanity, to improve the brotherhoods between all religions especially different sects and believes as well as enforcement and implementation of laws without any discrimination and said that it was enlightening discussion with the delegation of MAMG.
