TET Results announced 57.37 qualify in P-I, 19.51 in P-II

Hyderabad,  School Education Commissioner G. Kishan today announced the results of the Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TSTET) of July 2017. He said 57.37 per cent candidates passed in Paper-I and 19.51 per cent passed in Paper II.

Addressing the media here today, Kishan said in Paper-I, out of 98,484 candidates appeared 56,708 have qualified. Compared to last year’s TSTET result of 54.45 per cent, this year it is 57.37 per cent. The Commissioner explained that in the Paper-II, of 2, 30,932 appeared, 45,055 qualified and registered 19.51 per cent comparing to last year it is less, last year it was 20.04 per cent (In the Paper -II Mathematics and Science 1, 11,018 appeared in this passed is 20,323 the per cent is 18.31 and in Social Studies 1, 19,914 appeared, passed 24,732 and per cent is 20.62 per cent.

Kishan also said that in paper-I the percentage of passes in Rajanna district is highest with 74.27 per cent and the lowest is Bhadradri with 47.90 per cent. In Paper -II the highest per cent is 24.02 in Mancherial while the lowest is Sidhipet with 16.80 per cent. In Paper-Maths and Science the highest is Bhadradri with 24.91 per cent and the lowest is Sidhipet with 14.45 per cent and in Paper-II Social Studies, the highest per cent of passes with 26.06 per cent in Mancherial and the lowest is Mahabubnagar with 17.15 per cent. TS TET results can be found on www.tstet.cgg.gov.in.
