Mild tension in Yousufguda as BRS Alleges Bogus Voting by Congress Supporters

Hyderabad’Nov 11( PMI) A mild tension gripped Hyderabad’s Yousufguda area on Tuesday evening after leaders of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) protested against alleged bogus voting by Congress supporters.

BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha and MLA P. Kaushik Reddy reached Mahmood Function Hall after receiving reports that several non-local women were staying there with the intention of casting fake votes. Sunitha accused the Congress of orchestrating the move and demanded immediate police action.

As BRS activists gathered at the venue and raised slogans, the situation grew tense. Police officials quickly intervened, dispersed the crowd, and removed both Sunitha and Kaushik Reddy from the spot to prevent escalation.

In a separate incident, tension also erupted at Jubilee Hills, where Chinna Srisailam Yadav, father of Congress candidate V. Naveen Yadav, allegedly assaulted a BRS supporter during an altercation. The clash reportedly began when protesters shouted slogans against the Congress party.

A video of the incident circulated widely on social media, prompting citizens to call for police action against Srisailam Yadav (pressmediaofindia.com)
