Hyderabad-Dec 08(PMI) Telangana has announced a renewed push to collaborate with some of the world’s most advanced economies, expressing a strong desire to learn from and partner with countries such as China, Japan, Germany, South Korea, and Singapore. State leadership believes that these global models of development can provide valuable insights as Telangana accelerates its transformation into a high-growth, innovation-driven economy.
At a major investment and policy summit attended by international delegates, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy elaborated on the State’s long-term roadmap. He said that Telangana’s Vision 2047 Blueprint, designed to coincide with the 100th year of India’s independence, is not merely an administrative document but the outcome of months of dialogue, consultations, and expert analysis.
According to Mr. Reddy, the blueprint incorporates diverse perspectives collected through an extensive consultative process involving citizens, senior government officers, the Central Government, policy institutions such as the Indian School of Business (ISB), and national think tank NITI Aayog. “This roadmap represents the collective wisdom of stakeholders who understand Telangana’s strengths and the opportunities ahead,” he said.
He emphasised that Telangana is committed to adopting global best practices, whether in urban planning, industrial growth, advanced manufacturing, education, public health, digital governance, or sustainable development. By studying and partnering with rapidly developing economies like South Korea and Singapore, the government hopes to scale up infrastructure, boost innovation, and expand employment opportunities.
The Chief Minister said the overwhelming participation of industry leaders, diplomats, economists, and multinational businesses at the summit reinforced his confidence that Telangana is entering a decisive phase of growth. “Your presence today gives me confidence that Telangana’s rise is not just possible but imminent,” he told the audience.
He added that the State looks at investors and global partners not merely as guests but as long-term collaborators. “I see each one of you as a partners and stakeholder in this journey. With your support, we can achieve every goal we have set for Telangana’s future,” Mr. Reddy said, inviting global leaders to contribute to what he described as a transformative chapter in the State’s development story.(pressmediaofindia.com)
