Hyderabad: Some Telangana MPs called on the Chief Secretary SP Singh at Secretariat this morning and held discussions with regard to the judicious utilization of MPs funds being released by the central government.
Among the MPs who met the Chief Secretary were BJP MP Bandaru Dattatreya and TRS MPs Jitender Reddy and Visweshwar Reddy. After their meeting the MPs told media persons that they had complained to the Chief Secretary that the officials were ignoring and not following the proper protocol for the MPs during official functions.
The MPs also impressed upon the need for properly utilizing the MPs funds for welfare activities in the respective constituencies. They also wanted the state administration to place all information regarding the quantum of funds released from time to time and also where, for what purpose and how much of these funds were spent. Until and unless these information were not posted on online, there would be delay in the delay in the release of the sanctioned amounts, they reportedly informed the Chief Secretary.
