The Telangana government has intensified its efforts for the construction of elevator corridors. The latest land acquisition notification for the elevated corridor has been released. The government has issued a notification for land acquisition for the construction of an elevated corridor from Paradise Junction to Shamirpet ORR. The government has issued a total of 8 notifications under Section 11(1) of the Land Acquisition Act, 2013. A notification has been issued for the acquisition of 40,213.516 square yards of land in Kakaguda and Thokatta villages of Tirumalagiri mandal in Hyderabad district.
A preliminary notification has been issued for the acquisition of 17,607 square yards of land in Khakaguda and Tirumalagiri villages of Tirumalagiri mandal in Hyderabad district. Similarly, the authorities have released three separate notifications for the acquisition of land in three areas in Tirumalagiri village of Hyderabad district. Hyderabad district has issued 13,510.10 square yards in one place, 11,973.40 square yards in another place, and 11,836 in another place. The Revenue Department has issued three separate notifications for the acquisition of 67 square yards of land.
A notification has been issued for the acquisition of 35,360.76 square yards of land in Tokatta village, Tirumalagiri mandal, Hyderabad district. Another notification has been issued for the acquisition of 12,150.17 square yards of land in Tirumalagiri and Maccha Bollaram villages of Hyderabad district. Similarly, the Hyderabad District Collector has issued eight notifications for the acquisition of a total of 162,893.61 square yards of land from Paradise Junction to Shamirpet ORR. Officials have clarified in the notification that if there are any objections to the land acquisition, they can be informed in the District Collector’s office for up to 60 days.(PMI)
